Fire Safety
Fire Safety Awareness
Give staff the knowledge and confidence to help prevent fire and respond appropriately if an incident occurs. This practical, easy-to-follow course covers common workplace fire hazards, how fire develops and spreads, alarm and evacuation procedures, safe escape and the appropriate use of fire-fighting equipment.
Fire Safety Warden Training
Prepare designated fire wardens to support a calm, coordinated and effective response. The course covers the warden’s role, routine fire-safety checks, local emergency arrangements, evacuation procedures, assisting staff and service users, supporting fire drills and reporting concerns.

Ergonomics Training
Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessor Programme
This one-day programme prepares staff to carry out clear, consistent DSE assessments across office, clinical, laboratory and home-working environments. Participants learn how to consult with the employee, observe the work being undertaken, assess the workstation and surrounding environment, identify relevant risks and record practical actions. Theory is supported by guided, hands-on assessment practice using realistic healthcare examples.
Applied Ergonomic Risk Assessment Tools
Practical training in the selection and use of recognised ergonomic assessment tools. Using healthcare-based tasks and case studies, participants apply the MAC tool to lifting, carrying and team handling, ART to repetitive upper-limb work and RAPP to pushing and pulling. Emphasis is placed on accurate observation and scoring, sound interpretation and turning findings into proportionate risk controls.
