People Handling Instructor Refresher Course

Overview

People handling practice continues to evolve. This two-day refresher programme allows qualified instructors to review their practical skills, update their risk assessment knowledge and explore current evidence-informed practice from HOP7 alongside the HSE Standardised People Moving and Handling Techniques.

Delivered by instructors with clinical and ergonomic backgrounds, the course uses realistic healthcare scenarios to challenge established practice, introduce current approaches and strengthen the quality of training delivered within the workplace. It supports periodic refresher training, including the HSE's three-year cycle for active instructors.
