A template is a start — not a substitute for training
A documented risk assessment is one part of meeting your duties under SI 299/2007. The other parts are avoiding hazardous manual handling where reasonably practicable, and ensuring staff are trained in safe technique. A template helps you record risk; it doesn't teach your people how to lift safely.
For the training itself, Usafety delivers practical manual handling employee courses on site, using your real loads and environment. Instructors hold the relevant QQI Level 6 instructor qualification; employees receive a completion certificate.
