A template is a start — not a substitute for training
A documented risk assessment is one part of meeting your duties under SI 299/2007. The other parts are avoiding hazardous manual handling where reasonably practicable, and ensuring staff are trained in safe technique. A template helps you record risk; it doesn't teach your people how to lift safely.
For the training itself, Usafety delivers QQI Level 6 accredited manual handling courses on site, using your real loads and environment.
